Coal tar and petroleum delta green different mainly has the following several points:

(1) the temperature stability is poor, summer winter easy soft, brittle;

(2) poor plasticity, used in engineering often because of micro deformation lead to rupture and lose the waterproof function;

(3) the atmospheric stability is poor, because of volatile matter containing more common components, so used in engineering aging fast;

(4) in coal tar, anthracene containing phenol and other toxic substances, anti-corrosion ability, especially for the best wood preservative effect;

(5) good and bonding properties of mineral materials, and petroleum asphalt use, in order to improve the bonding properties of asphalt fuel.
